Autumn Half Term

We are back in the Museum for the autumn holidays (except Pumpkin Carving in the Shires and Beautiful Bonfires in the Guide Hut) – *Please note that for the Museum-based sessions the Museum will only be open to those families attending the craft workshop. Tickets for the timed sessions will be issued from the Museum’s main entrance in the Shires.

Thursday 25th October: Bug Hotels (in the Museum*)
Bugs need love, and a home – make one in our free workshop.
Tickets issued from 10am for 10.30, 11.10 and 11.50 sessions and from 1pm for 1.30, 2.10 and 2.50 sessions.

Friday 26th October, 10am – 4pm: The Big Draw – Redrawing Trowbridge (in the Museum)
Join us as we create a vision of Trowbridge’s past, present and future. This free workshop is suitable for ages 6 to 100+ and you can drop in anytime between 10am – 4pm. The workshop takes place on the top floor of Home Mills – if you have mobility issues and require the lift please let us know in advance. Please note this workshop is not suitable for large childminding groups or children under the age of 6 years.

Tuesday 30th and Wednesday 31st October, 11am – 3pm: Pumpkin Carving in the Shires Shopping Centre
Join us for two days of very messy pumpkin carving in the middles of the Shires Shopping Centre. This activity includes a free pumpkin of your very own, generously provided by the Shires Shopping Centre.

Thursday 1st November: Autumn Leaf Bowls (in the Museum*)
Get creative with clay and make some autumn-themed leaf bowls. This simple but very effective workshop is suitable for ages 5+ and is free.
Tickets issued from 10am for 10.30, 11.10 and 11.50 sessions and from 1pm for 1.30, 2.10 and 2.50 sessions.

Friday 2nd November: Beautiful Bonfires (in the Guide Hut)
In this workshop we’ll be creating some dramatic bonfire pictures. It is a simple workshop suitable for ages 5+.
