Our KS1 and KS2 workshops encourage children to explore history through role playing, dressing up, object handling and craft activities, whilst providing opportunities for your class to practice reading, writing and thinking skills. Our workshops will support your class as tackle the history curriculum and whether they are investigating famous people, delving into British life from times past or just getting to grips with the idea of history.

All of our history workshops can be adapted to suit a Local History focus. We can put together sessions covering a range of eras (Romans, Medieval, Tudor, Victorian, etc.) or one that focuses on a specific period in history. Typical activities include maps, now and then photographs and everyday life.
