Our KS1 and KS2 workshops encourage children to explore history through role playing, dressing up, object handling and craft activities, whilst providing opportunities for your class to practice reading, writing and thinking skills. Our workshops will support your class as tackle the history curriculum and whether they are investigating famous people, delving into British life from times past or just getting to grips with the idea of history.

With our periods displays, machinery and fascinating stories, we can offer a great range of activities covering Victorian life and the Industrial Revolution. There’s lots of hands-on activities including dressing up, object handling, fleece to fabric, weaving, children’s stories, plus an optional guided history walk, ideal for looking at everyday life, schools or work.
