Easter Holiday FREE!

Children's Activities

On Tuesday 6th April The Easter Holiday Activities start with an "Incredible Jigsaws" workshop, this allows children to design, make and take home an amazing Victorian style Jigsaw puzzle!

On Thursday 8th April there is a "Preposterous Posters" workshop, meaning children can make their very own Victorian style posters, including menacing wanted posters!

On Wednesday 14th April, the "Magnificent Machines" worskshop means children can design and make personal collage pictures of machines and robots!

On Friday 16th April there will be a "Flag Day" workshop to celebrate St George’s Day (and Shakespeare's birthday!), children will be able to make fantastic flags using a variety of Rose, Dragon, Crosses and Shakespeare stencils.

Tickets will be issued from 10am for 10.30am, 11.10am and 11.50am workshops and 1pm for 1.30pm, 2.10pm and 2.50pm workshops.

All workshops are suitable for children over 5 years old, any children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.

Therapy

The official presentation of the copy of the King John Market charter, which dates from 1200, will take place on Wed 17th March at 11.00 am in the Museum.

Roger Newman will also be signing copies of 'Two hundred years of retailing in Trowbridge' and there will be a small display of photographs portraying the history of retail in the town.

A guided walk with the Chairman of the Civic Society from Lovemead Car Park off the Halve in Trowbridge on Thursday 18th March at 2.00pm.

Trowbridge Woollen industry's

architecture'An outdoor museum

of national importance'

A lecture by K.H. Rogers, acknowledged expert on the Woollen Industry of the South West, will take place on Friday 19th March in the Museum at 11.00am and followed by refreshments. Admission is free.
