Reimagined: the Cycling Revolution around 1900
New Paintings by Patrick Hallissey

30 April – 29 October 2016

Drawing inspiration from Trowbridge Museum’s collection of photography, Cloth Road artist Patrick Hallissey has created a series of vibrant paintings reimagining scenes around cycling at the turn of 1900. Reimagined also tells the story of how the new freedom of movement brought about by the bicycle influenced society, from fashion to visual culture. Entry free of charge.

During the exhibition you can also follow Patrick’s live painting sessions in the museum and join one of his workshops.
