Friday 13th August, 7pm: Trowbridge and the First World War (Evening Talk)
The War Memorial was unveiled 100 years ago today and we commemorate the event with an illustrated talk on the impact the First World War had on Trowbridge. Not only did hundreds of men join up, women joined the VAD, houses became hospitals and children collected resources for the troops at the front. It is the tale of a whole town pulling together for King and country. The talk costs £7 per person and includes refreshments. Book via Ticketsource or in the museum or TIC.

Thursday 16th September, 7pm: Trowbridge and the Second World War (Evening Talk)
When war was declared in September 1939 Trowbridge was put on a war footing once more. In this fascinating you’ll discover what impact the war had on the town and the locals. The talk costs £7 per person and includes refreshments. Book via Ticketsource or in the museum or TIC.
