Spring Half-Term 2021

Please Note: Due to Covid-19 restrictions all attendees, including accompanying adults must pre-book a ticket.  All workshop bookings give you access to the museum – there is therefore no need to make a separate booking to visit the museum.

Art & Craft Activities for Families:

Monday 31st May: Junk Heap Challenge
Make something from the big pile of junk in the middle of the floor. Suitable for all ages, under 8s must be accompanied by an adult.
This is a FREE workshop but places including accompanying adults must be pre-booked – reserve at Ticketsource or call 01225 751339. Sessions at 10.30, 11.30, 1.30 and 2.30.

Tuesday 1st June: Simple Storybooks
Celebrate the new museum and the stories we tell with a storybook of your own. Suitable for ages 5+, under 8s must be accompanied by an adult.

Friday 4th June: Celebration T-Shirts
Learn how to draw, cut and print a stencil on a T-shirt and create your own celebration T-shirt. Suitable for ages 8+. £2 per person, pay on the day. Sessions at 10.30, 11.30, 1.30 & 2.30 – reserve a place via Ticketsource or call 01225 751339. FREE Photography Workshops

If you are aged 11 – 19 and would like to enter the Young Photographer Competition (full details below) then why not learn how to take a great photograph in one of our FREE photography workshops? Run by The Photo Club you’ll tips and tricks and how to be creative. Simply bring a camera, mobile phone or tablet and The Photo Club will show you the rest. At the end of the session you’ll be able to enter one of your images into the competition. #

We have two 1 hour workshops – Thursday 3rd June and Saturday 19th June available – during both of which the Museum will be closed to the general public.
